TOP 20 MUSIC

The aim of this project was to collect personal data on a person’s top 20 favorite bands/artists. Once the data was collected, it was organized by the band’s location, genre, and ranking to create an appealing visual form.

From the collected data, a system was created to organize it. Grouping was determined by the color and location of the forms. The vibrant colors, dynamic angles and lines brought in lots of energy, creating a visual form similar to the frequency of different pitches and instruments have in music.  At the bottom of the piece, a key was added to make the entire poster easier to comprehend and navigate.
